Hello everyone,
… Especially those in the United States who are most affected by the following information…
Under changes to the Canada / US trade relationship, all shipments into the United States will soon require formal entry completed by a US Customs broker. This also impacts international orders I’ve been shipping through the United States to offer discounted shipping rates (i.e. the USPS x AusPost collaboration).
This means the De Minimus program, which previously allowed me to ship your orders to you from Canada using USPS domestic mail, will soon be discontinued.
I'm working to learn more about exactly what this means for all US orders and ask that you kindly hold off on ordering from the US until I can figure out how to ship your orders to you 💚 I have an appointment with a US customs broker on Wednesday afternoon; hopefully they’ll offer some solutions on how to move forward.
There are approximately 225 US orders in queue right now, and I'm doing everything I can to figure this out... as are all Canadian makers in the same boat.
My broker has noted that any parcels reaching them before 10:00 am tomorrow morning will be able to slide through before the official change in policy comes into effect. Instead of products today, I’ll be shipping out every single thing that I possibly can.
Once I’ve done that, I’ll reach out to everyone individually via email with a list of options on how to proceed.
Apologies in advance to everyone affected by this — both in the USA and everywhere else in the world. I hope this won't delay orders to those within Canada too much. I’m very grateful to everyone for your kind patience and understanding
Thank you and all very best,
Milena 🙏🏼💚
